"I would love to learn all about it while being on the boat, but it is COVERED in bugs and someone needs to fix it urgently. Some of the bugs rest on the larger white building, too."

"loved this little out of the way place. Hope it attracts more visitors so they continue care of the place. I would suggest visit anytime but late summer... but it was a nice shady place to stop in the middle of the heat. Our granddaughter loved this place!"

"We loved being able to see what this working boat had looked like when it was in action. From the deck hands quarters to the kitchen and officers quarters, it was all interesting to see! Make sure to check out the operation room! You can blow the boat's horn!"

"What a surprise it was for us . We did not know that this boat even exist . On our way back home we decided to stop at the dam for some pictures. There she was in her whole beauty . Sadly the place was already looked up so we couldn't go and explorer the inside . But the Mansion and the Snagboat Montgomery are worth the visit"

"Nice peaceful diversion. Worth the time if you are not far away and want to learn a little bit. Picnic area nearby. You can go on all over the snagboat and the visitors center (the 'house') is beautiful with several informational displays. The staff is always very knowledgeable and helpful."
