"Dr. Pita of AFC sent a referral to Advanced Dermatology. Request they contact me within seven days. Once they called the female was more concerned about my ability to pay rather than my issue and reason I was referred. After placing me on hold for several minutes I was told there was no availability until January and January books were not open. I found this treatment both degrading and so unprofessional...I give them a zero star."
"The 2 star review is for the front reception staff, particularly at check out. I’ve been a patient of Dr Maddox for 35 years and I think that he is the best. I’ve been disappointed with the ‘corporate’ environment since his practice was bought out by Advanced Dermatology. I have a history of skin cancer and have 6 month check ups. I always make the next appointment when I check out. At my check up last week, I was rudely informed that Dr Maddox was booked up thru June and they would call me. I would have thought that they would try to get me an appointment as close to the 6 months as possible. It’s also difficult to get anyone in the office to answer the phone or return calls."
