""We got gouged," my wife's words after our experience here. We tried to get a quote for rotors and brake pads for a 2016 Toyota Highlander. He said he'd have to see it first, but since it only had 80K, hopefully we wouldn't have to change the rotors. We dropped it off and he said he'd call when he had a chance to look. Well, my wife missed the call b/c she was in a meeting. When she called back he said he was almost done and it'll be about $750?!? My wife felt like she had no recourse but to pay. She handed him the CC, he swiped it, and then she noticed a $29 fee. She asked what it was, and he said he had to cover the CC fee, but didn't mention anything about cash or check on the call or before he swiped. Ol' boy charges $120/hr labor (which seems high, maybe not), but it took him 1.3 hours to change rear pads and 2.1 hours to change front pads and rotors. Even if rotors are stuck and you need WD-40 and a hammer, they don't take but 5 extra minutes to pop off. It's not like he balanced the wheels after or anything. I typically do the work myself but life's been too busy. Anyways, I think he took my wife to the woodshed b/c she presents herself well and had a decent car. Avoid this guy."
