They are providing me an investment opportunity, not highway robbery. I say investment because this truck hauls at max load for nearly 25,000 miles per year. There is no backup truck. He understands that I have zero tolerance for failure due to a preventable problem, that only a thorough inspection would find. In order to prevent a problem from a thorough inspection, you need a subject matter expert with unmatched attention to detail, that can repair those issues perfectly by the book. someone who loves their trade. Even trust to work on the aircraft you’re a passenger on. That’s why he’s the only engineer I trust to work on the truck. Because the only other people I know that are as qualified in their trade as him; are aircraft technician’s.
