"This was such an authentic Malayali restaurant with super flavorful items! The fish fry is an absolute must order, along with the fried chicken bites. If you enjoy South Indian filter coffee, this place will not disappoint. Overall, such a great place for lunch, need to check out their dinner next!"

"Really enjoyed the Black Chickpea Curry and Kerala Fried Chicken Bites! So many reviews mentioned this appetizer and for good reason- they were so flavorful, moist and great amount of heat to the rub. We (group of 3) showed up on a Friday evening about 6:15pm without a reservation. The host (possibly owner?) was very nice and said it would be about 20-30 mins if we wanted to wait by the couch and have a drink. We opted to wait and it was only 10-15 mins. Next time I would make a reservation since the place was packed! Just a head’s up, this isn’t traditional service like most restaurants. You order through your phone through a QR code on the table. You have the option to put in separate orders (per phone and individual) which results in separate checks if that’s what you want, but the food isn’t guaranteed to come out together. We did it that way and this wasn’t a problem since we all shared dishes and small bites. The food was so delicious and flavorful!! I have never tried Indian food so I am not sure if it is authentic or not- I noticed a few pretty condescending reviews about recipe and ingredient authenticity- I would say, expect high impact flavors, spice and flavorful layers in each scrumptious bite! I will definitely go back. Service was prompt and friendly! I also read they get paid a flat hourly rate of $24 an hour since tipping is not an option when you pay with credit card. A great find!!! I recommend it for a date or group of friends on a Friday night."

"I don’t even know where to start with this review, but my friend and I had Thattu on our list to try as soon as they opened. We finally made it in today and wow. Everything was incredibly delicious and beautiful. I loved the artwork and the overall vision the owners’ have for the place. I can’t decide my favorites, but we essentially ordered the whole menu and nothing disappointed."

"Bottom line: Flavorful, delicious, healthy food. Unexpected, new foods that were expertly prepared. This is a place to come back to. Every expectation I had was blown away with this dinner. The flavors and textures of the food were brilliant. They coursed out our order in the best way possible and really led us through a journey. No frills here, just a staff that really pays attention to what they do and do is spectacularly. I also loved being introduced to a few new foods and new preparations of others. The drinks paired really well and helped to temper the spice forward meal. Big winners were the curry, pork chop, eggplant, and fried plantains. Also, make sure to get the spicy shortbread which comes prepackaged and you can eat it over coffee the next morning. What a delight!"
