"First took forever to get my order in. Then when I ordered my food it took over hour to get my food which still had to pay for. Waitress came over asking how I was 30min after I ordered and told her still haven’t got my food. When I finally got my food I didn’t get everything is says it comes with. Just got giant burrito with no refried beans and they had no sour cream. Then they tried charging me for a beer I already paid for at bar. We had to go to bar to get drinks because service was horrible. Atmosphere was ok."

"Food was spot on, yummy been twice now. The food was hot when it came to the table and it had flavor. I'm not saying spicy cause i don't want you to think it was spicy hot. We had drinks with our meal and they were fair."

"This was already a Mexican restaurant at 1 time but must not have worked out for them. New onwers bought it and kept as a Mexican restaurant. It looks more like a bar. It has a stage with drums and guitars on it and pool tables in the main dining area, which is kind of odd. It was cold, so I didn't care for that. It was just too chilly for me. The food was okay, wasn't great but wasn'tbad. It was kind of average. They have a cheese dip, however, with Chorizo in it, my oh my, that was worth the trip itself."

"Service was good, she was friendly. Peach margarita on rocks was okay, no sugar rim, just light if any?! Restaurant was big, spacious even a stage I think. It was clean, inviting. Ala carte tacos were blandish, meat kinda Old hard like if sitting out or something.. Enchiladas were alright, rice stale. Would try again at a better hour maybe, we went around 230p."

"So tonight was the first night I've eaten at El Mariachi and I gotta say I wish I'd come sooner. We ordered 2 different fajitas, got a fresh guacamole (Which truly blew me away, easily the best fresh guac in Evansville. Period.) And I had a line margarita and we only paid $42 for the entire meal. We were told that management of the restaurant has recently changed, and although I don't know what it used to be like it is awesome now. Flavors were great, service was fast and the price can't be beat."
