"We've stopped by a couple of times when we're in town for basketball. Last year we got dairy free strawberry and this year we ordered dairy free Oreo. It's a coconut based ice cream that is vegan. Typical for these kind of ice creams, it has a strong coconut taste at first, second bite is less noticeable, and then quickly goes away. I thought it was delicious and appreciate that Zax Creamery has three vegan flavors and rotates them. Thank you for also clearly stating that your dairy free is vegan (which isn't always the case with "dairy free"). A stop at Zax Creamery is a must when in Jasper."
"Ice cream and coffee are really good. Only complaint is the inability to confirm what is in the ingredients. Someone I was with has allergies and they were unable to tell us if there were nuts in any of the ice cream and even if there is not, probably isn’t safe since they use the same spoon for all of them."
"I give 2 stars because the drive through situation.... When going through drive through large orders should be made to come inside... 3 people sat in over a 20 minute line in drive through for just ice cream.. we shouldn't have to wait that long. Make large long orders come in so you and us can get our stuff and go"
"Not only is Zax BY FAR the best coffee place in town, they are also the best ice cream place as well! They have recently added an extra room for eating. Also in the entrance is a nice patio with several tables. The staff is always on top of their game and friendly. Prices are lower than your name brand coffee chains. This is the Mom and Pop stop that you won't regret!"
"Amazing service asked for a frappe that they don't usually make. They made it perfectly! I also bought a side of M&Ms for my two-year-old and they were so kind!"
