"I’ve dined in and grabbed takeout multiple times—and never been disappointed! The service is beyond excellent, probably among the most friendly and welcoming in Kokomo (in my experience). The atmosphere is definitely not minimalist, but in the best way! There’s always something new to look at and enjoy. Most importantly, the food is phenomenal. From the hibachi style dinners, to the freshly prepared sushi, all the way to some of the best ramen I’ve ever had. I will be back, probably sooner rather than later!"
"Kokomo has a surprisingly large amount of sushi places for its size. With Sakura i can clearly say is the strongest of them all. A genuine atmosphere that reflects a larger cities expectation and each dish and roll is presented with charm and character."
"Absolutely stunning plating! Staff is friendly, quick, and attentive. We’ve been here 3 times, and this place is a place you will want to keep coming back to. I am definitely going to be a frequent flyer. This place has been great for lunch and dinner. We’ve had the ramen, steak and rice, sushi, fried ice-cream, and there’s not one plate that isn’t delicious. The Owner is also amazing! She did a custom food flower design on the plates. You don’t feel like you’re just a customer here. They take genuine time making your order to perfection and adding unique personal touches. You don’t this kind of service anywhere else these days at restaurants. The staff all takes great pride in their service and your experience. I love seeing the kids here. You can tell it’s a small, family owned business that puts a lot of love and attention into every thing they do from the food, decor, atmosphere, and experience."
