"I'm very disappointed that I could not enjoy my visit, as others have! Once home, and reading some of the reviews, I too decided share my experience. I was surprised by the stairs that one has to climb just to enter this wonderful establishment. But in just 10 minutes after entering I was running for the door to escape! The overwhelming scents from many candles, soy products and/or essential oils, was way too much for me to handle! Recently diagnosed with COPD, I never know what will set my symptoms off! Now I do."

"Road Trip Worthy: Off The Hinge’s Hidden Gems Off The Hinge Antiques, just an hour's drive from downtown Indy, emerged as an incredible gem after a word-of-mouth recommendation from another couple seeking antique furniture. Disheartened by high price points and lackluster quality in the city, we decided to give this shop a try for our new house furnishings – and it exceeded our expectations. Walking away with four unique pieces without breaking the bank was genuinely surprising. The husband/wife duo running the show impressed us further with their dedication to sourcing, ensuring the store evolves each weekend. The variety of furniture, decor, and trinkets is fantastic, and the clean, ordered presentation adds to the overall experience. The meticulous curation is evident, and we appreciated the absence of dust, a testament to their commitment to maintaining a welcoming atmosphere. Every piece purchased came with a story, enriching our connection to our finds. In one day, we found four key and substantial pieces that had eluded us for the past two years. While it's a drive, making it a day-long excursion is absolutely worth it. A piece of advice: if you find something you love, act on it immediately, as the unique and affordable pieces may not last. We adore the couple behind Off The Hinge Antiques, their brand, and the exceptional quality they consistently source."

"My husband and I have collected antiques for over fifty years and have visited many antique shops, but this shop may be our new favorite. The antiques were displayed in such a way that you immediately could visualize them in your home. Not only were the antiques wonderful, but the shop decorated for Christmas is really something to see. I have never seen such beautiful Christmas items. You will need time to take it all in. We live several hours away, but will definitely be going back."

"I Love Antiques! Off The Hinge had a little bit of everything! Jewelry, homemade wax melts, funny saying wood plaques, a church pew, old keys, extra scrabble letters, old dice and a ton of other great antiques! I can't wait to go back!! Had a ton of fun looking at everything they had to offer. If you love antiques or just need some cool old keys for a craft project or a missing scrabble letter or two, this place is for you! Happy Antiquing!"

"This place was an amazing to discover! You don’t get half the amount of vintage soda advertising that was offered here in antique stores wayyyy bigger. I highly recommend!"
