"Went there one evening to watch the football game. Have a couple of beers and eat. It was really cool except for way too much cigarettes smoke. My clothes smell like smoked my hair smelled like smoke the fact that they don't have proper ventilation and yet they allow people to smoke in their establishment is terrible. Made for not so great evening. I will not return. They only had two waitresses service was slow. Food took forever and when it came out it was cold"
"Great food and service, nice chill atmosphere. Smoking bar so a plus for me... had to update... take a look at this beast...and it's only a single. Now if it was just big ok, but it was delicious, juicy, flavorful and very hard to finish... of course I did"
"I would call this a dive bar but it was the highlight to my stay in Merrillville. The drinks were a fair price the atmosphere was cool and it had smoking allowed in the bar so that brought me back to how bars used to be and it was just a cool experience. The waitress had to ID us all and we’re in our late 30’s so that was kinda weird but she got nicer as the night went on. The food was another high point for me. I don’t remember what the burger was called but they had a 1 lb burger option that would have been the biggest burger I can remember ever seeing offered at a bar but….. they also offered it as a double! I finished the 1 lb burger but my friend couldn’t finish the 2lb one. I would go here again next time I’m in town."
