"Food was good. I tried to call in my order but the young man told me I had to order online or in person. I ordered online and it auto populated a tip amount. I don't tip unless I'm dining in so I changed it to $0. After entering my card info, it never gave the final total before processing, but I just assumed my $0 tip had registered. It wasn't until after I ate and looked at the receipt that was sent to me, that I saw a tip for $3.27. Again, had I dined in, a $3.27 tip is nothing. But to just pick up my order, why tip? Anyway, It may sound petty to some but I would like my $3.27 back. Other than that, the food was good and it seemed like a good environment for dining in."

"My family and I attended this location for my son's birthday. As we entered the facility there wasn't a warm greeting. We kind of stood around a second and a young lady set us down. The menu had so many warnings of being charged gratuity for 4 people or more and it stated the prices had the right to increase without notice. The cocktail menu had no prices listed as well. The music was so loud that we could barely communicate with one another. We noticed people were eating out of black Styrofoam to-go boxes instead of plates. We asked our waiter if the prices were accurate and she stated no. We gladly got up and left. I'm not sure if I'll come back to this spot because everything was all over the place. Menu needs to be accurately priced so the customer doesn't have to guess what they're spending. Just too much confusion but the place did smell really nice."

"I arrived at the restaurant at 7:30, our food did not come out until 8:58 PM, I had an event to get to at 9:30. This was disappointing and unacceptable. The only thing that the young lady offered was a complementary drink that was water down anyway. This is the second time this situation has happened to me. I really don’t know if I’ll be back if I do come back there I’ll probably be a group experience or something like that but as far as me coming back just to eat and chill I’ll probably won’t do that . The only thing the young lady told me was I apologize. And tell me that it was something wrong with the paper, and my order didn’t print out. I feel like it’s a responsibility of the server to check on the food especially on the table that she is waiting on. She did not check on my food until I asked after waiting so patiently over an hour, that’s when she found out that my order never went through. for this to be the second time this has happened And nothing was done to compensate the long wait time or the fact that we were waiting for over an hour. The atmosphere was great, but that was about it. The security officer at the door said well. You should speak to the manager because the manager is here, but the fact that the manager didn’t even come to the table to address the Situation Speak loud and clear ."

"Been in merrillville for 3 months and this spot by far is my favorite. Chicken was seasoned generously, mild and spicy jerk sauce was a hit, Mac n cheese was rich, salted, and had cheddar stretch when you pull it out of the bowl. Everything tasted great but The cabbage surprisingly had the best flavor. My only complaint was 2-3 out of the 24 wings I ordered were too burnt to eat, but it was still worth it. They have drinks daily and karaoke on wednesdays, cool ambiance, would be great for group night, date night, or even just to pull up for a plate. The girl working the front wasn’t very friendly, but I came for food so I didn’t care too much. I hope they stay open"
