"The stuffed pepper soups is homemade and awesome. Best soup, and yes they have others which are good too, but when the soup schedule comes out we make a point to order 2 quarts of the stuffed pepper to go, it's that good."
"Schoop's is a timeless restaurant that has existed for many decades. The food remains one of the best in the greater Chicagoland area. The only drop from greatness is the lack of ample staff and the lackluster "lost in time" atmosphere. Schoop's represents an old time drive-in without the drive-in. Unfortunately, the decor doesn't match the tunes. If the 50s-60s drive-in is the vibe? Play the music that fits the era. Classic 70s-90s music just doesn't fit."

"A Very Well Run Burger Joint !!! I stopped at this Schoop's location in Highland for lunch. I was hungry and in the mood for a good burger. I had heard from many locals in the area that if wanted a good burger you should check out a Schoop's location. Schoop's has been around since 1948 and has franchises in Indiana and Illinois. On my visit to the Highland, Indiana location I was served by the owner. She helped me choose the homemade soup of the day to start, and walked me through ordering my delicious and filling burger and fries combo and a shake. The burger was fantastic, fresh with quality ingredients and toppings. The fries are hand-cut and crispy. The shake was very good as well. This was a very good lunch and I enjoyed my food and the history lesson from the owner. if you are in Indiana and looking for a great burger, give Schoop's a try."
