"We visited the children’s museum with our kids and wanted to eat somewhere close and figured we would try something non chain and went here due to it being right down the road. The food is decent, but the prices are absolutely not. My husband and I, and two kids (3 and 4) ate here. My husband said it was pricey after coming to sit down and said he paid about $50 at the debit check out. Our bank statement shows a $65 charge! Ummm. For burgers and small French fries? Where did that additional $15 come from? My 4 year olds meal was $5.99, but the charge has us all at $16.25 a piece? I’m sorry, but the drinks did not cost that much and we can eat for less at Olive Garden or any of the nicer restaurants in town (including our tip). My three year old literally got the frozen Dino nuggets. The cheap ones in the yellow box from Kroger. The atmosphere is not what you’re paying for either, it is plain Jane, the walls need painted and the menu items are dollar tree posters with marker writing. I am very disappointed, I love supporting smaller businesses, but I feel like they must have added in some extra after the fact and literally just stole money from us? Definitely pay cash if you come here, or better yet just save your money."

"This place is the hidden gem of Terre Haute. Their prices are reasonable and you get HUGE portions. Your order is cooked right in front of you and all the ingredients are fresh and huge selection right behind the glass to top your food off with."

"After walking past this place for years during trips to bar botics and J Gumbos I finally stopped in today, and I'm glad I did. If you want a fresh, delicious big greasy hamburger, this is the place to go. The French fries are also just perfectly made with a delicious crunch you don't find at many places that may visually resemble this one. The signage looks homemade, but the food is fantastic! I will be back soon for more"

"Food was good. Fried food made to order. The place was a little bland. Could be a fun old style shake shack with a little more effort."

"Went there for the first time on April 30th. There was a line but they moved it fast. Menu is a decent size. Mostly hamburgers and hot dogs. I got the Philly cheese steak it was HUGE, it was good too. Fries are just crinkle cut nothing special. Got the cheese curds, they were SPICY! There should probably be a waning on them. Husband got a cheese burger, it was big, he liked its flavor. Nice staff. Would go again, would recommend. Nice addition to Terre Haute."
