Effin Egg

"Today I ordered the Javier Burrito. I decided to try this restaurant after driving by numerous times. Unfortunately, I was not impressed with the food at all. From my perspective I believe breakfast should be sizzling hot if it is being served to someone unless it’s normal cereal with milk. Ultimately, the taste was bland and I tasted more tortilla than ingredients. I’m fine consuming a basic breakfast bowl from Aldi’s for $2.09."

"Came in looking for a quick bite to eat. I ordered the “Really! Effin Turkey”. My sandwich was fresh and hot when I received it. The man working the counter was very kind! I also had an iced coffee. Very tasty and fresh. I enjoyed my experience. I will definitely be back."

"Wanted to give this place a try as I love when new restaurants open out this way, However, this was my first and last time. Let’s start with the service. The service was actually good, the lady at the counter was very helpful and nice. You order at the counter and they bring your food to the table. The prices are extremely high. I spent 70 bucks on chicken and waffles, two orders of pancakes, an order of tater tots, and three drinks. I was shocked. Now to the food. The pancakes…were terrible. Those were not pancakes. They were almost like muffins. Very dry and didn’t taste like the traditional pancakes served everywhere else. They were also very small. And for 8 dollars that’s unacceptable. The chicken and waffles were ok, and so were the tater tots. They didn’t give us any syrup when they brought our food out, and when we went to ask for syrup, they wanted to charge us 1 dollar for the syrup packet. Outrageous. They did give us 1 syrup per order after we told them we didn’t get ours, but syrup should be free. I had to get something else to eat after we left because we were not satisfied. I wish them well but I will not be back. Also, the workers pulled out the trash from the containers while we were eating, I’m guessing as a reminder that weneeded to throw our own trash away :-( This doesn’t seem to be a restaurant that fits this community. For a good breakfast visit Golden Bear right down the street!"

"Visited the Cafe and was pretty underwhelmed with what we ordered, confused on why it was so expensive, and did not feel confident that my order was going to be accurate or communicated properly amongst the staff. Firstly, to my surprise my order was indeed correct!!! There were only one other couple present that ordered at the Cafe while I was there. But I had to clarify my order 3x after paying, and even had to verify my coffee order with my receipt with only 1 other order. Hmm... I'll also say once I finally received it the Latte was pretty good! I would recommend if you're looking for coffee/Espresso that is sweeter ask for additional sweetener. The food was a big let down, and a big portion of the bill. My partner and I ordered the Chicken and Waffles and I'll keep it short. You get one bland waffle, with 2 chicken strips that had a flavorless breading and chewy inside. I definitely would not recommend it. I would have loved to try the Cafe again, but I think the prices are a bit overzealous for the limited flavors you did get in the food, and although I thought the Latte was good, I would challenge that the size you get is pretty small. On top of the minor inconveniences during my trip on having to advocate my purchase with receipt and not get any apologies it just didn't meet my expectations."

"’ve been driving by this anxiously awaiting for it to open as it’s 2 minutes from my office. Finally saw it open and stopped in. Ordered the avocado bagel and was told it came with scrambled eggs but when I ordered I was charged $2 for scrambled eggs. Diet Coke was $4 which seemed pretty high. Got back to work and wow. Underwhelming doesn’t cover it. I almost Feel like I ordered the wrong thing? It was so under seasoned. No salt pepper or flavor. Bagel was everything but only had sesame seeds on top. Might be worth trying again once they work out some kinks"
