"This was our second visit in the same month. We came on the 6th and the food was good except the Mac and cheese and the alcohol was good and the prices were very reasonable. When we came back on the 27th the food was good and the Mac and cheese was better but the prices was so much higher as well as the alcohol. Parking is off street and high. Our waitress was slow and brought our food out piece meal and the drinks were served last. I was so disappointed. Thought I was gonna make this my new hangout spot"

"When we arrived at Wilma, we had a reservation there were plenty of empty tables. They kept us waiting about 25 minutes when they did see that they gave us water and left us waiting another 25 to 30 minutes. They then placed our order most of the table received their food. I received my food about 15 to 20 minutes after everyone else received theirs they were almost through eating when they received theirs, they told us that they didn’t have any coffee they didn’t have any tea. They had no lemons for the water they have ran out. They had no sugar for the tea to even make iced tea because they didn’t have any. I think it was just poor management to run out of lemons to run out of anything when they have access to stores all around them and they still this was 8 o’clock in the evening that we had our appointments for and they had plenty of time to restock and they did not. I was totally dissatisfied with the service and the management of that particular Wilmers and they said this was a soft Opening , the menu was so limited it’s not what I saw online online. It does not tell you that they have a soft opening and that they have a very limited menu and so most of the stuff that we want it wasn’t even on the menu and portions were extremely small for the price they were charging I won’t be going back and neither of my party of 15 they won’t be going back either. Thank you very much get better."

"This food is so GOOD I drive 50 minutes to get it. But when your order is short just a 6 wings but everything is on point. That’s sad so I have to share my’s because of that. And no way to call them just email or respond to a text message from them to let you know that your order is ready no response at all! We’re not giving up on them a black owned business."

"Ok I finally got to try the downtown location, you could smell the bbq as soon as I stepped off the train! I ordered online for a small pork tips and hot link combo. I was greeted by the guard who happily grabbed my order for me since the hostess was away from the stand, thanks for the excellent service. Anyway to the food: the tips was cut super thick, so you only got about eight tips☹️, a hot link and a few fries and I do mean a few, like about 10 and no bread.? How do you eat a hot link without bread? The tips were good even though they should’ve been cut thinner and the hot link was cooked well but the texture was off! The inside of the link was mushy and unpleasant to the palate. Overall for almost $25 never again! Please give bread with the hot link, cut the tips thinner and add more fries for goodness sake and coleslaw it’s a bbq joint!"

"Well yes, I finally tried Wilma's BBQ. I placed my order online for lunch so I can just go pick it up. I get there. They're working on the parking lot so it took me a little bit to get a park spot because the parks were limited, and me trying to park is another story. I needed to order some baked beans because it wasn't part of the online order so I let them know that I was picking up and they told me to go to the register to pay for the beans. My order was ready. I drove home and open the goodies and everything looked great and delicious. I got the lunch specials: chicken wing special with fries, pork hot links with fries, and a small rib tip with fries. Everything came with a slice of bread. The only thing when ordering online it does not give you the option to order side orders or to order sauce on your chicken. So make sure you you pick up some sauce before you leave. The chicken was fresh. The fries were delicious. The tips were cut great. They were the perfect size. The hot link was great. You only get one for lunch so be aware of that. I purchased all of this for about $22. Great bargain! If you haven't been to Wilma's you need to go. My husband said the barbecue sauce reminded him of BBQ Kingdom restaurant that was on 5100 West on Madison Street in the Austin area. The place we grew up on had some of the best barbecue, but is no longer in business. I will be trying the turkey tips on my next trip. You want some good old barbecue? This is the place to be."
