"Shady Lawn Truck Stop restaurant has always been a great place in our community to grab a homemade meat and three… under new management, the meals are palatable, at best. Service is still great, but we can crack open a can of vegetables and thaw out a frozen pie at home for a lot less. Hopefully, this is just transitory and the new management will bring back quality food, soon."

"Restaurant closed. The shower had bugs in it. Showers haven't been really cleaned since the 60s. The food as far as the oven rack kinda sucks an it may be eating something that was cooked up from the movie wrong turn or hills have eyes. Not worth getting off the exit"

"Haven't eaten there but I will, I heard the chicken gizzards are the best & their chicken & biscuits are good. There's plenty of parking & it was peaceful & quiet. I will update this review when I try the gizzards."

"Stopped to get some snacks for the road. They sell Chevron gas. It’s right off Interstate 65 and has a large lot and several pumps. The restaurant is large and serves fried chicken. We didn’t eat there, it they were busy. Lots of trucks parked in the big rig area. It’s an older place, but was well stocked. The bathrooms were okay. Wound stop there again. It’s also the only place in the area at that exit. If you like a little Americana,you should stop just to take your picture with the 20ft tall chicken! It’s awesome!"
