"Overall great course! Accommodating and friendly staff! The ridge is a beast with major hills. The course requires pin point accuracy if you want to even come close to breaking 80. The valley is long with no turn at the 9th :( but it's in great shape. Much fewer hills and easier to score on. Great range facilities, I just wish they would allow to hit off the grass more than twice a year."
"I always enjoy playing at Oxmoor Valley. I've played The Ridge and The Valley course and enjoyed both. The Ridge is very challenging with a lot of hole variations. Many blind shots will test your accuracy and aim. Great golf course The Valley course has huge elevation changes. If the wind is blowing your in for a big challenge. The hole layouts will test all parts of your golf game. Oxmoor Valley is Always a yes!"
"Stopped in for a round on my move from Dallas to North Carolina. Have always heard great things about the Alabama Golf Trail. I played the Ridge course at Oxmoor Valley. Incredible terrain for a golf course. So much elevation change on the course. The course was in great shape, greens a little on the soft side but that is always the case with bent grass when it's hot. Really a fun lay out that at times looked very challenging off the tee. Most of the tee boxes are elevated and the shots into greens were typically up hill. Rolling fairways with a lot of undulations. Large greens that putted smooth. You really have to pick a good line off the tee. I enjoy courses like that. Course was in great shape. Only negative was being stuck behind a slow 4some so we had a 5 hour round. I played with a local and he said the pace of play is always good, we just got stuck behind some guys that don't understand pace of play. There is also the Valley course which I did not play, but I bet it's amazing as well. And very friendly, helpful staff."
