"Nancy's Alterations is connected to Nancy's Thai Market, and even though we didn't have anything needing altering, her market had all of our favorite ingredients for making Thai food— Tom Kha, Pad Thai, Larb— they have everything you need! "Nancy at Nancy's Alterations does good work. However, she is not reliable, nor does she appreciate the importance of time. She is an airhead, without a doubt. I dropped off a blanket to have monogrammed on October 15th. It wasn't very hard work and it takes about 30 minutes to do. I know this because we had two blankets monogrammed previously and I watched her do one of them. It has been a month and a half and she still doesn't have it done. After she had it for a month, she called because she had lost the paper with the initials and the color that we wanted. We told her what we wanted. A week later, I stopped by to check on it. She had forgotten about it. She said she need a few more days and she would call when she had it done. My mom waited until the end of the week. She went by while she was out running errands and Nancy told her she had forgotten about the blanket. On top of forgetting about it, she had also forgotten what the initials were, she didn't have the material or the thread we wanted anymore. I would not recommend having work done there. You will be waiting longer than you need to and she will probably forget about it."
"I was in town for only a couple of days. I needed something stitched, and not a small order; and I needed it on an their off day, as I didn't drop if off until late on the previous day. She was able to get it done, on her off day, and she did a flawless job. I couldn't be happier. I highly recommend."
