Sherwin-Williams Paint Store

"Requested assistance from one of the professionals at Sherwin Williams to help match deck color of stain (which was purchased there originally). Feeling confident after looking at the swatch and recommendation of the employee bought 3 cans. It was no where near close to the color. My husband went back and showed the Sherwin Williams employee the contrast and bought 3 more of another color called pinecone and it was absolutely worse. He went back the 3rd time and a different employee could not understand why it was so far off and added black to take the orange out and it still does not even come close to what we need. Add it up folks 6 cans of paint that is useless. We are going to donate . Update…. after speaking with the manager Josh and Casey and taking in a piece of the existing paint they were able to coordinate a color close to what we currently have and exchanged 3 of the six cans of paint. He prepared our order before our arrival, therefore my husband was able to walk in, pay for, and leave in a minimal amount of time. Very efficient and great customer service. "This Sherman Williams paint location has a reputation with myself and others of being non-helpful. It seems to happen more on the weekends. For example, I went to this location to buy paint but I did not know the exact paint color. So, I asked the young lady working there to help me. I ask her could she could maybe look the information up in her computer and it was obvious she did not want to help me by the response that was given. Just yesterday a gentleman knock on my door to ask me about the paint colors of my home. After a five-minute conversation he told me the same example I just gave above about the Sherman Williams in Chelsea Alabama. Guys, in the future, try to appear as if you want to help the customer when they come in. I know in these two examples the store last $500 of paint sales. The gentleman told me yesterday that he would be buying his paint from a different Sherman Williams or Lowe's. Good luck in the future with all your non-helpful staff."
