"EDIT: I received a phone call from Hills. They were very apologetic for my experience. He offered to have someone come out and fix the damage free of charge. They did come and did a good job! I believe Hills righted their wrong and I am changing my rating to 3 stars. TLDR: Only use this service if you have already moved all of your furniture out of your home. I'm quite sad to be writing this review because I got a good feeling after speaking with the man who came out to give me a quote (can't remember his name but I'll name him Brett). He helped me pick out a carpet easily by dropping off a board with some samples at my house. However, I don't think the option I chose is the same that was installed. The morning of the installation, I texted Brett that the dresser in the guest bedroom was very heavy and to please be careful moving it onto the landing. The installation went smoothly until I returned home after the crew left. There were several areas on the stair banister and door frames that were damaged and marks on the walls in one of the bedrooms I had very recently painted. I sent pictures of the damage to Brett and he knocked off $150 from my total price. As I started moving items back into the bedrooms, I've noticed more areas of damage and found a screen sitting in my guest bath tub. I asked Brett where this came from and he said the crew probably opened a window for ventilation. That's totally understandable. What's not understandable is to not put it back where you found it and not communicate with me that they took it off and left it. I also noticed that the crew took it upon themselves to go through my bathroom cabinet to get a new roll of toilet paper despite having two other bathrooms in the house. One of which I know they used because he left the toilet seat up. I also noticed that one of my pop open medicine cabinet sections was opened. This section is very nit picky but I don't like the idea of three men rifling through my cabinets. All in all, I did not have a great experience with this company. I wouldn't recommend them."

"We recently had Vinyl Plank Flooring installed in our bathroom. We had considered buying the product and installing ourselves. However we decided to let the experts handle the install. They arrived earlier than expected and completed the job quickly the flooring looks fabulous. The added benefit to buying from Hill's and having them install as well is the warranty. 2 years on product and install and 10 years on product. Awesome and thanks!"

"We chose to go with Hill’s over a box store like Home Depot or Lowes and we are so glad we did. They were so incredibly helpful throughout the whole process. They let us take home several samples until we found the right one. They explained the different types of carpets and the benefits of each one. Mr Hill personally came out and measured and quoted the room. Installers were right on time and worked quickly and did such a wonderful job. We love our carpet and plan to use Hill’s in the future when we redo our kitchen flooring."

"I cannot share enough good things about our experiences with Hill's. The quality of their work is wonderful and they stand behind it. We purchased some beautiful tile from them in 2016 transforming our kitchen and bath, and then in 2018 returned to purchase all new bedroom carpet before our daughter was born. Each time we've been presented with affordable options that are still of high quality and any time someone we know is looking for flooring I recommend Hill's in Hueytown. They offer all the same products as flooring places in Birmingham but at a fraction of the price due to being a small family shop."
