Aspen Dental - Madison, AL

"Not sure I could ever give a dentist's office five stars (I just hate going to the dentist; sorry), but I was pleasantly surprised by Aspen Dental. I had an urgent issue to take care of and was able to get an appointment same-day. My first worry was that it was a "franchise" but from check-in and throughout my visit, they handled everything with professionalism and courtesy. Sadly, I don't remember the names of everyone I interacted with, but the front desk, x-ray, transition team members, care givers, and dentist were all top notch. They even have a "green room" where, if it's necessary to wait in between stops, you're not ejected back into the front waiting room. This was my first of what will be many visits (sadly), and I'm hoping team performance remains high as they handle the more invasive work. For today, they were great."

"******UPDATE* I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS OFFICE TO ANYONE! They ruined my teeth with a filling done by Dr. Harvey, the regional manager Violet was rude and not empathetic toward my concerns when i told her my filling fell out after a month that was done by Dr. Harvey. The office staff was rude and unprofessional. I will it go into detail further but I’m now dealing with a $1400 bill to get my tooth fixed that the dentist messed up and a whole in my tooth because i have to get a root canal done and pay $1400 for it! They’re money hungry, they do not care about the quality or care of the customer, they’re there to do a job and get paid and that’s it. I’ve been an aspen customer for years in multiple states, always had good service. I come here and the first dentist i worked with did an awesome job on my fillers and service. I went again to get more fillers on the other side of my mouth and a new dentist completed this. I came out with a different outcome, i had bad tooth pain for a week so i call to schedule a check up and the lady at the counter was rude, she sounded like she just did not want to be there or didn’t care, them they scheduled my follow up the next day. I go and the dentist said he drilled to close to a nerve in my tooth and decided to shave down some of the filling and told me if this doesn’t work that i might need a root canal to fix it. I went a whole week in pain again, I’m now going on 3 weeks of not being able to eat solids or chew on the left side of my mouth! I call today and complain, i demanded a new dentist to do my root canal and not be charged for his mistake, they put me on a 30 minute hold then told me they would call me back and they never called me back!!! The service was poor and i will be going to a new location! Second issue was they cancelled my appointment the same day, a few hours before i was about to go because they don’t do fillers on Fridays!! Why could they not tell me that the day i scheduled the appointment!? The last rescheduling me was rude aswell! The last issue i have was the initial appointment i made for me and my daughter, they told me they allowed children so the day of my appointment, right before our appointment they call me and say they don’t accept children! I argue this response so she goes and talks to a dentist and comes back and said it’s fine, but when i get there they give me references to child dentistry’s and said they don’t serve 12 year olds. Why the hell didn’t you say that initially!!?! I would not recommend this location!"

"When you have tooth pain, many people are not on their A game when it comes to being kind to others. I try, but I’m sure I was not my best. Despite any flaws I may have shown, all of the staff were exceptional! Very pleasant, very accommodating and passionate about each persons job. I am especially thankful for the fast yet precision work of the staff to avoid keeping me in uncomfortable parts of the process. Each person showed they care about your pain and your needs. Thank you to all of the staff in Madison! My best dental experience yet."

"First check up with Aspen Dental 2023. Receptionist: Welcomed me and professionally checked me in for my appointment. She also took and made copies of my dental insurances. I was called back and x-rayed; every step was explained to me. We went over my medical history, medications, and allergies. This young lady treated me as a person and reassured me when I couldn't think of something pertaining to my medication. The Doctor was fabulous; he listened to me and addressed my concerns in a professional manner. He explained that they will address my situation more once I return from the impending surgeon. My overall experience was great, even on a Monday. Thank you. Keep up the good work. Do keep me up-to-date on dental need and cost."
