Mosaic Restaurant & Bar 1010 Government Street, Ocean Springs, MS 39564

"12-9-2023 my friend from California was visiting and we wanted to see the scene in downtown Ocean Springs. We decided to check this place out because it had indoor dining. The indoor area has a wonderful atmosphere and great seating arrangement to where you didn't feel like you were sitting on top of each other. The issue I had that was the biggest with this restaurant was there was a live band playing out side. They had the amplifiers cranked up so loud we could barely talk inside the restaurant. I don't know how the people outside could stand sitting in front of the band and all those speakers blasting so loud. My friend had the seared tuna which tasted okay. The blackened was so strong it overpowered the tuna. I had the shrimp and grits which were way too spicy and unlike anything I've ever eaten in Louisiana. The Grits were dry and just a small portion with this hot sauce and shrimp poured over it. The shrimp or tasty but the sauce was overpowering and nothing like a Louisiana type shrimp and grits. I was very disappointed in the food. The prices were reasonable"

"Definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone that wants to go out and eat in Ocean Springs. They are the best! They have by far the best fries and great mojitos. The sweet potato fries are my favorite but the seared tuna steak is by far the best thing on the menu. I also tried the shrimp and grits very delicious. It also has a lil kick to it which is what I love, Being that I'm from Louisiana. They surely do season their food to perfection. The owner Kenny is such a kind man. He came swing by our table to say hello. Awesome atmosphere too. Love the decor and how clean everything is there. ."

"What a great place! I have been wanting to eat here for so long, it was definitely worth the wait. The food was delicious. Everything we ordered was so tasteful. The pork belly and mahi tacos were fantastic. The samosas were also very good, served with extra chickpeas. We started with the charcuterie board which was well-appointed. The bushwhacker is a good, classic coastal drink but this one was far heavier. I finished off with the smoked old fashioned which really sealed the deal. The service was also excellent. I highly recommend this place! They have a great beer selection as well."

"Yum!!! We had a great lunch at Mosaic. We needed somewhere that we could eat outside with the dogs, and this place was perfect. They made sure that the dogs had a bowl of water the whole time. The chicken gyro and the smash burger were great! Our waiter Joey was awesome too."
