"I am so excited I found you! I have been trying smoked brisket all over this country for decades and have never found one I thought was worth all the hub-bub....until now! The sliced brisket was off the chain! Cool atmosphere with friendly employees! I can't wait to come back!"
"Stopped here on our way to Mobile and was sorely disappointed. The ribs were fall off bone, which is not what expected of competition ribs at a BBQ joint, and brisket, which I always judge a BBQ place on were soaked in sauce and to thickly cut for brisket. If you like overly mopped meats, then this is the place for you. The sides were good, though, and highly recommend the fried okra and collared greens. The place was very cold in winter, and the space heater was not big enough to heat the area."
"Service was awesome! Place is weird but definitely cool. Food is excellent and prices are very fair for the quality. Skip the fried pickles! The red ranch and barbecue sauce are amazing. All the meats are fantastic and a great beer selection. A little dead in the winter but definitely laid out for busy times in the warmer months!! Great place to stop, stretch your legs and have tasty food. There’s a boardwalk over the lake and lots of stuff to explore."
"The Shed Barbeque and Blues Joint is very much the way the name sounds. An extremely eclectic collection of memorabilia covers the grounds. Fun things to look at. The blues stage is extremely casual with ample seating. The restaurants are large with lots of merchandise for sale. The big star is the Barbeque. Large portions of delicious food and sides. A fun place to stop, eat and stretch your legs."
"The Shed is an experience in itself. You drive up to different buildings with all kinds of memorabilia and signs with fun sayings. Even the walk to the bathroom has things to see. The Barbecue is delicious and I love the Mac n cheese. My family always loves fried okra."
