"I'm not from Montgomery and to be honest my expectations with regard to food, drink and entertainment aren't that high for Montgomery. My criteria for a bar that I will frequent is #1 the skill of the bartender, #2 the atmosphere and lastly the patrons. I've been to KRU twice and was really surprised; the cocktails I drank were excellent. It's a clean bar with an excellent bartender i.e. David and a relaxing atmosphere. The patrons seem to be regulars...good people."

"I had a Moscow mule which was awesome. I loved the ambiance and option to play old school games. The prices were reasonable. Chris was the bartender while I was there He was personable, kind and easy to talk to. Drinks are not watered down. I'm from Columbus but the next time I'm in Montgomery I will visit this bar again."
