"Whenever I come down to Smith Lake, I stop at S & S to pick up some filets. Medium rare and the most tender steak I have had. Grab some deviled eggs by the deli and I’m all set! I just need to walk past their bakery, which is delicious as well."
"Great meat choices and clean store, I've been shopping here for years with no issues until last night when I was blatantly lied to over a reduced item product and then the kid threw charcoal lighter fluid bottle on top of my steaks in the bag, not the usual service from previous visits and lying about a marked down item to avoid doing your job doesn't sit well with me especially after being in the grocery business previously. Might have to visit the big W from now on."
"S & S has THE BEST meats!!! Great, great employees, good bakery selection, but I was disappointed that they rarely carry the baby cucumbers. Still, all of their pluses far outweigh that one, small item. There are only two (2) locations for this family-owned grocery store, so you'd think they were somewhat 'pricy'. No, they aren't. Very competitive. Good people all the way around."
