"This was my first time walking the trails here, and it won’t be my last. It was a very peaceful and nice walk. Seeing the herons nesting was pretty cool. It’s all dirt and grass, so not recommended for biking or wheelchairs, but for a nice walk and seeing wildlife, I highly recommend it."

"Excellent walking trails with plenty of hills and connections to Yates Trail and Bloomed Park trails. There's a gravel parking lot with a port-o-potty conveniently located on site."

"Great easy trail along the ponds that brings you to Yates Cider Mill. At times the trail was a little confusing as we climbed up to the dirt path early instead of taking the water trail right to the cider mill. Took about 45 minutes to complete."

"Nice trail starting from the trailhead off Ryan Rd. Very good conditions as long as it hasn’t rained too much. Starts with 1/2 mile of gravel track then dives toward Clinton River, most of which offers either straight/beaten path, or a nice parallel winding riverside path that’s easy to follow, nearly all the way to the Cider Mill, then back."

"First experience here! I am a birdwatching and nature enthusiast. I drive past this park regularly. In passing, I've seen Herons and Egrets, Turkey Vultures, various raptor species. It's early autumn here so when I ventured here, I was able to see plenty of birds! Downy Woodpeckers, Blue Jays, Groesbecks, Robins, Finches, among others. Beautiful place. My only issue is the close proximity to the gun range. I don't know how that's allowed to be near such a vital and protected environment. I wonder what kind of impact it's had on the species that inhabit this place. Nonstop firing for the first half of the day. Seems extremely disruptive to the natural system."
