"Launched my kayak here. Very easy to get in and out of the water. Unfortunately some trees were down blocking the river so you couldn't paddle very far"
"This area has been updated. There is now an ADA boat launch with a paved path to the launch. There is a good size paved parking lot. There is no bathroom facility and not even a garbage can. The pond is nice for a short paddle, but you currently cannot go far on the river. Heading east is a damn with no portage. Heading west are some good log jams. The pond also is not very deep in some spots. Good spot to bird watch."
"Oak Grove Picnic Area off of Ann Arbor Trail is great place to relax alongside the water, head out on the bike or walking trails along the lakeside. Home to a “Wind Phone” set up for people seeking to communicate with deceased or lost love ones is a unique attraction as well. Pull over and enjoy this small picnic area."
