Reviews
"I really like this beach. Clean. Friendly staff. Bathrooms and no shower rooms. Could use a update."
"Different options to have fun with family and friends. They also have lockers ($5) and decent restrooms and changing rooms. Clean beach, you can rent kayaks, double kayaks, paddleboards, canoes, umbrellas, and cabanas. There are grills, picnic tables, a playground, a volleyball net, and an ATM. Not many options with shadow, so bring your own umbrellas, sunscreen, and bug repellent. Food options: Drinks, slush, burgers, hotdogs, soft serve ice cream, dippin dots, and candy. They also sell overpriced dollar tree toys Pet friendly, but you can’t take dogs to the sand or water. They offer trash bags for easy cleaning."
"Beautiful clean beach. Great place to bring your family of any size. It's pricey if you want to do the "obstacles course" $17 per person(includes children)."
"Great place lots of fun a must go and do the obstacle course"
"*This is about WhoaZone only* We visited the Huron Beach to enjoy the WhoaZone. Before leaving home, I called to find out what we needed to use this fun looking, water, obsticicle course. I was told all we needed was the Park Pass to get into the State park and we would be able to play and enjoy. You can imagine, I was extremely happy and the kids were ready! We loaded our stuff, the kids were in the van, and off we went. The beach looked nice, clean and empty. We dropped our stuff, got the kids into their swimsuits and went to grab a lifevest from an area by the beach. A young girl came out of a small building by the bathrooms saying she was sorry, she couldn't let us use the lifevest. It was for WhoaZone only. She said it was 15.99 per person for an hour. I was surprised and a little irritated that I was not told this over the phone. There were a couple more interactions with the staff, and I have to say, not impressed. We stayed and swam for a bit, but then left and did something else with the kids. *Not trying to be negative, just very unhappy with the way things were handled, especially the attitude of staff. Hope others have had positive experiences."
