"Weird small worm like creatures that attaches to your skin, found in water Update: it was determined to be a freshwater Leech. Take that as you will, just watch yours and your Little ones feet!"

"This was a nice slow beach that was free and really reminded me of being at an up north beach. Nothing terribly special but they did have pretty clean water, a nice swimming platform, play structure for the little ones. If this was a pay beach it wouldn’t be so great but definitely a nice free beach. Definitely has that pure Michigan feel."

"You have a fantastic small lake, two pavilions, a nice sized playground that's safe and all plastic AND a historic cemetery with a beautiful coast line that routinely has great geocaches. The hidden area known mostly by locals creates a great environment for fun on a relaxing afternoon!"

"The pavilion was nice that we were in and the are was clean and shaded. We didn't get down to the water but there were a lot of kids and grown ups alike there. They all seemed to be having a wonderful time. There were 3 life gaurds there, one on duty at the beach and two as back-ups to give each other breaks. There were great play areas for the kids too."
