"I’m so glad I discovered this little hot-dog gemstone nestled up on the hill between Southeastern Salvage and Irondale Pickers. The hot dogs were fabulous- it was almost nostalgic. I haven’t had a hotdog that great in a minute!!! Nice, laid back, clean atmosphere. Owners are very friendly too!"
"Just a great hamburger/ hot dog joint, nothing fancy. Food is made to order, so you'll have to wait a couple of minutes to get your order The line for food was continuous at lunch, so apparently the people of Birmingham love their Gus's! Searing can be a challenge, it's not a large restaurant. I enjoy this place and will be back."
