"I visited the McMullen Booth location on 11/25/23. Since I have food allergies, I contacted someone through email asking if I could eat at this location safely having both gluten and shellfish allergies. I was told yes and since I was visiting from out of state, I was very excited. Upon arriving at the restaurant that excitement disappeared quickly! There was absolutely NO ONE in the restaurant, yet I wasn't greeted AT ALL and had to yell for someone to recognize I had walked in -- Even though there was an employee at the grill. Finally an older man came out and while I tried to advise him of the emails exchanged and my food allergies before placing my order, he continuously dismissed what I was saying, speaking louder and louder to talk over me, encouraging me to place my order TO GO (as he did with a lady that came in about 10 minutes after I got there). I ordered a LARGE TRADITIONAL Greek Salad, he rang it up, quickly and then recapped, "Ok, a large CHOPPED salad no seafood", again I reminded him of my order. After I paid for my order, he tried to put bread in my bag, I reminded him sternly that I was allergic to bread!! I never once saw him put any gloves on. He acted as if he were doing me a favor. My salad was not what I had been dreaming off. Wilted shredded lettuce, mealy tomatoes, cucumbers that were mostly seed... my potato salad tasted like old mayo. It was not worth the $22 I paid for it. Even as I type this, the whole experience is just SAD. I expected better from the Pappas brand."

"Nice little diner with solid Greek cuisine. Yes, they are living in the States long enough to have adjusted the style and flavors, but the Spanokopita was the best (commercially available) that I ever had in Birmingham. The entrees come with one side, a Greek salad, and a roll making it a bit more food than a sensible person that is not doing manual labor should eat. The Greek salad did not resemble any horiatiki I ever had in Greece and the Greek potatoes came in a sauce, which was a disappointment since I clearly remember this vegetarian default dish to be crisp, citrussy, and herbal. Still a good, affordable meal but I cannot give more than 4 stars since everything came on disposable plates."

"I loved this authentic Greek food so much. I'm gonna go every week. I am a person not impressed by fancy atmosphere. What I despise are servers who say HI Guys. Thanks guys. We're not "guys". I loved the service and the food was amazing. I was full and I didn't feel gross after eating like some restsurants. This was like home cooking. Can't say enough about the Greek salad...perfection plus those potato chunks. I can't wait to go back"
