"Since the pandemic we as customers have been forced to lower the standards we set for the restaurants we choose to eat at. We figure it's better to expect & accept mediocrity than it is to have high expectation only to be hugely disappointed over & over again. I am very happy to say that our first time ordering take out from Big Doons BBQ was a great experience & alot more than just mediocre. We had a Family Meal that easily feeds 4 with normal appetites with 2 large sides & a pulled chicken sandwich for under $50.00. The ribs were some of the most meaty I've ever had at any restaurant...EVER, very tender, lots of flavor. There wasn't one thing that we didn't enjoy..... As long as the quality, quantity & service remains the same & menu is reasonably priced ( prices will inevitably change with the changes in economy) this place will be our go to for BBQ in the future. Thank you Big Doons BBQ you did not disappoint!"
"This was an amazing experience from the moment that I walked in. I was greeted with a warm welcome. Placed order to go, received food very quickly. I may have speeded home, to hurry up and try the food. I knew if it tasted as good as the aroma in my car smelled, I was in for great meal. The taste did not disappoint. Very tasty. I loved the smokey taste the ribs had. I highly suggest the rib tips plate. I'll be back (soon) to try other menu options."
