"The food was delicious as usual. It was my now 12 yr old's birthday and Longhorns is her fave place bc of the Wild West Shrimp. The servers were very nice and made sure we had everything we needed. However, the hostess was not. She acted as though doing her job was a bother. Never a smile. Cold tone. Barely looked up when getting our info. When it was time to be seated we came back in and she never acknowledged us until I said something to her. I didn't expect red carpet but a simple "I'll seat you in a moment" would've been great. My kids and I weren't the cause of her bad day. Thank goodness the rest of the staff was so great."

I'll go as far to say that this is my number one favorite restaurant in the entire Birmingham area. I realize it's a chain, but the simple fact is that their food is hands down delicious, and their service is fantastic is enough to solidify them as my #1. They're 22 oz. Longhorn Steak is a great choice if you're famished. For a slightly smaller, more reasonably sized steak, their New York Strip is excellent as well. Their filet is delectable."
