"It was a horrible experience on 2/12/2024 around 6:40 or so when my family and I visited this location. The escalator had apparently been serviced earlier that day which left black stuff on the rails but yet management very aware of the issue failed to post signage or shut it down so that the black stuff wouldn't get on customers clothing or hands. When I brought it up to I guess an assistant manager she made excuses and said it was on her hands as well. My thing was that they were not going to pay for the customers clothing or personal items if it got on us and would expect us to pay for the clothing if we got it on theirs so the smart thing to do would be to shut it down and put signage saying that there was black stuff(what ever it was) on the railings so do not use. After us it was about 8 more people before she finally put the escalator safety sign in front of it and shut it down. This is an issue with me because if you knew about it because you were giving out wipes that were super dry so they weren't going to help at all. The other issue is the misleading hand sanitizer bottles in the restroom that were actually soap but said other wise(thank goodness because I needed soap). Like properly label these things or restock. This Belk has gone way downhill, thank goodness for The Summit and Alabaster! They aren't even worth one star but had to put one in order to post."

"Staff is amazing. Jewelry section could have been better. We went three times to look at a Le Vian ring that was 60% off. The staff never acknowledged us or asked if we wanted to see something. The ladies in the luggage and purse section were amazing as always. Sad that there were two working in jewelry and couldn’t help us. We may have purchased that ring instead of going elsewhere."

"So the prices on the Black Friday sale were not quite what I or most people expected. They seem like the regular price for an every day excursion to Belks. Yes, they they have some great products but nothing really earth shattering or that meets the eye. Got a heavier category. Suffice to say that I didn’t like the sales so at the original prices I probably would not go here."

"Not all Belks are created equal. This is one of the better ones. In any given department store, the men are always undeserved. Belk does a great job of meeting the modern man's needs. It has become my one stop shop for clothes and shoes. Best of all they always have a SALE!!!"

"The store was neat and clean. Staff was friendly. The only thing I would say that needs improvement is the big and tall section could be bigger and taller."
