"Super fun place for a great selection of down south specialties. Great atmosphere and decor. Hard working staff make the whole experience enjoyable. Classic blues music in the background really sets the relaxed mood."

"It is a different type of place. It feels like a honky tonk. The service is decent. The food is bimodal. They have the best tarter sauce I have ever eaten. I put it over muddy tasting catfish filets that were small for the price. I ordered mash potatoes and gravy they were good but they came in a 4 ounce cup. The potatoes were good. The baked beans came In a slightly smaller cup 3? Ounces or so. Again small for a side. They fell between savory and sweet and required hot sauce to make them edible. My daughter for the chicken sandwich it was chewy and stringy. However the fries were the smash hit! Everyone one of those got eaten. They were battered covered, tasty with the content of mashed potatoes on the inside. These were perfect like manna from heaven. If we come back it’s because of these little wonders of the world. The final winner of dinner was the fried okra. They were almost gone before I got a picture of them. They were battered not corn mealed. Yet they were not greasy and everyone was covered in batter."

"Their fried chicken is delicious, and their beans are very good also. Good service and nice atmosphere. We had the fried jalapeños appetizer, 2 adult entrees, 2 iced teas, 1 kids chicken finger meal w/ water to drink, and 2 adult beverages. The bill came to $83 after about 20% tip."

"We stopped in for a late lunch. There were only a few people there so we got our food pretty quickly. The server, Nicole was very friendly and helpful while we made our choices. When we got our food, it was really good!! We both enjoyed it thoroughly. The atmosphere is really cute and interesting!! There is so much to see and pics can't do it justice. It's worth a visit just to see everything but the good food is a real plus. We don't live close by but will go back if we are in the area again. We actually saw this place by accident after to searching for over 45 minutes for something other than fast food. Take a peek at the pics and then go try the food!! You will like it, betcha..."

"I really enjoyed the atmosphere especially the live music. The tamales were fabulous and the fried chicken was great. I gave only three stars because our drinks didn't get refilled and the cheese fries were brought out cold, so cold the cheese was hard. I truly hope they were just having an off night with the service. Will return if ever in the area. Hopefully it will be an overall five star experience."
