Unlike typical thrift shops, Athens Kids Mart is only open for 3 months at a time before closing for 3 months and then repeating the cycle. Contributors have total control over the pricing of their items until the last 5 days of the sale, which takes place from May 27-31, 2024. "The owner sells recalled children’s products, like Fisher Price Rock and Plays as well as drop side cribs! It’s been brought to her attention that it’s illegal, that the items are recalled/banned and she just had deleted comments or turned off commenting to hide what she’s doing. Incredibly sad and disappointing!"
