Clean and not overrun with people, even the day before Memorial Day, It's a good starting point on the Little Traverse Wheelway (for little legs or leisure bikers, hikers or nature buffs), and even though it's reliant on visitors cleaning up after themselves, it's very clean and inviting."

"Lovely picnic pavilion in East Park, a beautiful seasonal park. The pavilion sits atop a cliff overlooking Lake Michigan. Beautiful scenery, including landscaping with flowers. It has ample parking, open space, plenty of picnic tables, and a grill for cooking. There are handy bathrooms nearby."
