"The evening I checked in, the young lady was very nice, attentive, and great service. The following morning, upon checking out, the younger man sitting behind the desk was busy on his phone. Never greeted me or acknowledged I was there. Once I approched the desk, he looked at me then back to his phone. I said, "excuse me, I would like to check out of my room". He chuffed, gave me a cross look, held his hand out for my keycard, acted as if I was really putting him out, snatched my cards, slammed them down on the desk, pushed his chair back where he had it, leaned back and went back to what I interrupted. I guess you can't expect good customer service from there."
"This place surprised me... The staff was kind, the room was clean and comfortable and (best of all) they allow pets for a small fee. They also have a good breakfast selection, for a grab n go type thing. I was impressed and I'd stay again!"
"Service desk was nice to deal with but the rooms leave a lot to be desired! The molding on the door was just standing there not fastened to anything so the chain lock was useless. The bathroom stunk and needed lots of minor repairs. The sheets and pillows were clean but the carpet was worn out and threadbare! OK for one night but too expensive!"
"Great experience! Service was excellent, as usual. My husband and I stayed here last year and were glad to come back. I had a special request due to a medical condition, and my needs were met immediately! They don't have a large hot breakfast, such as waffles, eggs,etc, but they had sandwiches that you could heat up and cereal. There is a Bob Evans across the street, and a McDonald's not too far away. This hotel is pet friendly, but they, like many hotels up here, have a policy where you can't leave your pets unattended at any time. So if you are going to go out a lot, which most will while on vacation, you will want to make sure your pet will be able to go with you. I absolutely recommend this hotel!!"
"Don't let exterior photos, fool you. Is it a wee bit dated? Perhaps. But the rooms were clean and welcoming, as were the common areas. Front Desk Service was outstanding! (We really can't say enough about the service). We took advantage of the washer/dryer conveniently located on the first floor, as well. If you want a clean room in which to rest between stops, this is the place. We will DEFINITELY stay again."
