"I first saw this in the fall, it was absolutely gorgeous following the trails to get there. The trails are tunneled by trees. You can follow the rocky beach, that will also lead you to a sandy beach where you can access the deck aswell. The beach will leave you speachless no mater thw time of day. Sunsets are by far the best. The rocky part of the beach will keep the rockhounds busy for hours while catching a tan simply wade in the water."

"Go for the walk not for the deck. The walk is very nice through trees especially in the fall. Then you come to a clearing with a sandy area where the observation deck is located. The view from observation deck is underwhelming with trees blocking most of the view. We went in the fall."
