"We walk this trail with our dog almost every day. It is very picturesque during all seasons. They are getting new wayfinding maps this summer, but it is hard to get lost since the preserve is boarded on three sides by Lake Michigan. We usually do the 1.5 mile loop."

"Was a great place to see the sun set, right on lake Mi, if you want to star gaze at this spot there is a lot of tree cover behind you, since the sun set here it takes longer for total darkness you may want to return a couple hours later You can drive right up to the edge small but can fit a few cars, take a truck and back in it you have to time to wait!!"

"This place is a gem hidden in a residential sub. Didn't do the trail, but the beach is by far the best in the area. Much nicer than the downtown Charlevoix beach. I would go as far as to say it's probably my favorite beach in the entire Charlevoix/Petoskey/Harbor Springs vicinity. The beach is just a short walk over a small dune from the parking lot. I would suggest getting here before noon, as the parking lot is pretty small and fills up quick. There is also a disc golf course here."

"This is such a beautiful part of Charlevoix all year round. The trails lead to a great observation deck to over look the beaches where you can swim. I love it in the winter after a big snow because it feels like you are walking through another world. There are so many picturesque landscapes and moments. You have to check it out at least once while in the area."

"Seems that it was a nice trail but know it looks abandoned. At few spots there is so much mud and water that is impossible to pass. There is also a place that had been used by Mountain Bikes, but it is destroyed. It is time to do a recover on that trail to show the beautifull area."
