"Ray Wink started this company. Ray was a great guy who seemed to actually care about his clients. Derek, Rays son, cost my company $30,000 because he dragged his feet in assisting me with the PPP loan process during covid 19. When I was trying to apply for a mortgage I emailed Wink Tax services for a simple letter written with their company letterhead. I was waiting days for a reply, when i finally called them, because as it turns out applying for a mortgage is a little time sensitive, I was met with the excuse "we are months out in emails". So if you want to lose money and wait months for emails to be replied to then this is the perfect accountant for you"

"He just made us lose 4K because of his lack of care in our taxes. Mr Winke is not a nice person and you always feel like he’s actually doing you a favor by filling out your taxes. I was courteous every single time I went do my taxes with him and he was actually annoyed I asked for my taxes being sent. I found out later that he never did and I lost the window time to fill them out again. This is very sensitive as these are legal documents. It is very sad that he could care less about his customers, I even recommended him to some other friends and had to tell them to not come back to him again."

"Back in March of this year I reached out to Winke and spoke with Derrick regarding him becoming my accountant for my small business. I agreed to move forward with using him for bookkeeping, taxes, and converting to an S-Corp. He immediately helped me transfer to an S-Corp, and was responsive to my questions. Over the summer, I emailed him several times for updates on my bookkeeping and I never heard anything. It's now September, and I have called his office and left a message and he never has called me back. I'm really disappointed in the lack of response because I've assumed for the past half year that I had someone who was doing my bookkeeping and taxes (who isn't apparently). If they were no longer able to help me, I would have preferred a letter, email, or some sort of communication saying they could not help me as a client instead of not responding at all to me."
