City Wide Heating & Cooling

"When I had a problem with my furnace I called citywide they sent a technician out right away this guy courteous respectful and very concerned about repairing my furnace it couldn't be repaired so I had it replaced he showed me the parts that were broke and gave me up front and pricing. I am loving my new furnace I won't use no one else but citywide heating and cooling thank you guys so much My family is warm."

"In late 2019/20 we decided to upgrade our house from electric baseboard heating to an HVAC system. This required adding ductwork, a furnace and air conditioner, totaling around $18k. Citywide took two weeks longer than anticipated as many employees quit mid job, they left holes in my newly refinished ceilings in almost every room and when I requested these be repaired they filled the holes with silicon, sloppy and still very apparent. 6 months after the initial job was completed an inspector knocked on my door to evaluate their work and notified us that, while the insulation was present. It was just sitting next to the ducts and not installed at all let alone properly. Why write a review now? Well as I lay in bed, 59 degrees in my house, having listened to my furnace run for the last 12 hours straight, I am reminded that not a winter has gone by that I have not had an issue with the furnace requiring someone to come out in the 5 years it has been here. I cannot recommend City Wide as thorough, honest, or of worthy quality. Edited: Because Google doesn’t allow replies. In the 12 months prior to this installation we purchased our home, had a home inspection, added a bedroom, expanded and existing bedroom and removed a wall in our living room including removing the existing acoustic tiles and drywall on the ceiling and running new electrical to these spaces. This, today is the first indication, mention or do us soon I have ever had of a “rat” infestation. I should also add that I don’t live in the city and it would be unusual for rats to exist near my home. We did not hire a drywall company to do the drywall work that was done during a large portion of these renovations, although various other professionals were present and in my attic, so I have no reason to have suggested that I would hire one to repair that several holes left in the ceiling of each room. Additionally, we, your team included, determined that because our breezeway, as the entry was to our home, holds our water and gas shut off, washer and dryer , a water drain etc would not be the best place to put the furnace without blocking one thing or another. However, the alternative was to cut a hole in my bedroom closet floor and place it into the crawl space. As for price, I would be happy to post my receipt, I’m not arguing that the price was faire or not fair, I agreed to pay it, but for the money in invested in this system, I should not have to worry about whether it will work each existing winter. The inspectors did sign off on the project eventually but we received 3 visits and they made your team return to appropriately apply the insulation. I expect nothing less reading the responses to your other reviews."

"I would recommend this company if you are needing a new ac unit or furnace. They did an excellent job installing my new ac unit. They also repaired my old furnace & replaced the blower motor so that I wouldn't need to replace the entire system. Alan came out the same day when our ac unit was broken and fixed it when it was 100° outside. They were very professional skilled technicians I will refer everyone to go here. and they had the best price in town."
