"5 of my friends and I were in a major car accident the day before we were planning to rent a boat from Guy for 3 days. We called first thing in the morning before we were supposed to pick up the boat to attempt cancel/ask for a refund for the already over priced boat rental. Did not hear back from them until way late in the day and they refused to refund the money. Our group decided since they refused to give us a refund we would pick up the boat for to have it for two of the days at least (likely they would have rented it out to someone else anyways and got another sale on top of already having the money we paid them for it) when picking up the boat Guy had no remorse for our situation And also did not apologize for not calling us back the day before- said “that’s my wife’s job” even though he told us he heard the message on the answering machine. Not to mention he never gave us a contract for the boat rental because he “forgot it at home”. Extremely sketchy situation, I would absolutely NOT recommend renting a boat from him or his family."

"My experience with Guy has been good. It's much more convenient for me to have someone come to our place to repair our boat but we are always disappointed with others. It's worth the effort to load up the boat and bring it to guy's. He knows his stuff. His shop rates are competitive. I've never felt cheated. I'm a low income customer .. but I don't expect free service. Being in business is tough."
