"Girlfriend and I were strolling and minding our business when we made the mistake of walking past the electronics department. A target employee started aggressively going through her pitch about target's promotional cell phone plan or whatever. We said "we're not looking to change our phone service at this time, thanks though", and the employee rolled her eyes and stood there shell-shocked, as if we had the audacity to not want to listen to her whole 15-minute high pressure sales pitch. I get you have quotas or whatever, but the correct response to "we're not looking to change our service" is "ok not a problem, let me know if you need any assistance with anything else". She needs to be retrained and possible put in a different department, because if I had done what she had when I used to work at target, I probably would have been written up. If you come to this target, avoid the electronics department. Walk behind the lane or around men's ware so you don't have to deal with a repurposed, aggressive used car salesmen."
"Went to pick up an online order and by the time we made it home, my son realized his costume was missing items. We went right back to get them to exchange it. Well guess what, they don't do exchanges. I was told the amount will go on a gift card. Now I have to purchase the costume AGAIN with my redcard to get the 5% off. And now have a gift card.... How can a company this size not do exchanges?!?"
