"I had them come out because of lingering musty odors and mold growth in my basement. The inspection guy was nice and punctual and fairly thorough looking over the inside and outside. He also assured me they could get rid of the smell and my allergies would disappear. He then gave me his card and sent me the estimate and welcomed any questions. So I agreed to have them come out. Unfortunately, he was kinda slow to respond to my questions and didn’t even answer my last question until right before their workers arrived. The day they arrived, they were about 45 minutes late. They did text me but only after the arrival time. The younger guy who was quiet but polite, I had no issues with. The older guy however, who reaked of cigarettes and wasn’t the most friendly, seemed to be totally confused as to what work was to be done. He didn’t even know what direction he was looking at. So I had to do my best to direct him as to what drywall was to be cut out and what was to be sprayed with their mold killer. I also mentioned that maybe they could call the inspection guy if they needed more information. Anyway, I left them alone for several hours to do their work and hoped for the best. Several hours later, they called me and said it was ready. When I got back, I looked at what they did outside and was mostly satisfied at the changes they made to protect my house from flooding. But as I went inside, I noticed the odor from the fogging was still quite strong. So opening the windows was a must. I also noticed that my valuables were not covered (as promised) and that there was a couple of bright yellow stains on my carpet upstairs. They also didn’t replace my sump pump hose with a higher quality one. They just kept the cheap plastic hose that I have going outside and it is now buried outside so it will now be even more difficult to replace. My biggest complaint though is that the musty odor is still there. It’s slightly better but only slightly. So i’m not sure it was really worth the cost I paid. But assuming the chemicals they use actually help prevent and kill mold growth, I guess it was better than nothing."
