"Cheapest place in monroe county for younger people weather you have points on your license or not they have lots of of options for payments and plans. I only pay every other 3 months with 3 months of no payments in between and it's very helpful not having a payment every month. "Raised my rates 20% this year. Why you ask? "Our running expenses have gone up." Really? So I can expect a 20% hike in my rates every 18 months? I'm having trouble buying that. Another story: I moved in to a home with a landlord and another roommate. Leski required that I give a copy of my roommate's dad's policy (in a different town) in order to not have him put on my policy. Realistically, how am I going to convince a stranger to give me a copy of his insurance policy to share with another insurance company? "It's part of Meemic's underwriting process." I used to be an insurance broker and I can tell you that is the most ridiculous and absurd process I've heard of in my life. Thankfully then, my rates only went up 10% (hooray I guess?). Also, I left that house 10 months ago. I just found out over the phone that I've been charged as if he was still on my policy for the last 2-4 months (I can't remember when I told them I moved) That's a total bummer... I hope I can figure that situation out with them. I'm very frustrated with this business and if I don't see things change, I can't imagine staying here. I did hear my rate will go back down this month. Fingers crossed! Really polite people there though, I'll say that. Jessica is great to speak to, good news or bad. Edit: It did go down 25% hooray! But, only if I can give them a copy of the insurance policy my sister has. Hate that, but I guess what can you do?..."
