"I called this travel agency a couple of weeks ago and spoke with Catherine about booking our honey moon in Europe. She stated that she would get back to me with some information by the end of the week. I gave her 10 days, then called back to remind her that we were waiting for more information, she told me that she would email me some information by the end of the day. Never heard another word and its been over a week. If you don't need my business than I'm sure as hell not going to beg you for it. Called another travel agency this morning, already got an email back."

"Went in to get some help booking a vacation to Europe. Spoke with an agent and went through what we were looking for in a trip and all my contact information. They never bothered getting back to me. Booked a trip with another agency...their loss."

"We worked with Catherine from Andrew Kan Travel to book our honeymoon. Initially we were set to go to the Dominican and all was well with that booking until I realized I forgot to renew my passport. I called Catherine in a panic and she was able to book us something new in St. Thomas with just a $540 loss. We were happy with this result and had written her a five star review the next day. Then, we started to hear rumblings of Hurricane Irma and the possibility of it hitting the US Virgin Islands. We immediately called Catherine to ask what would happen in this case and what we could do (at this time we could still cancel for a loss of only $540). Catherine recommended adding travel insurance and assured and reassured us that it would cover the hurricane. After reading things online and talking with friends and family we called the insurance company directly just to be safe. They told us that had the insurance been booked prior to August 30 (Catherine booked for us on September 1st) the hurricane would have been covered but now it was considered a foreseen event and it would cover absolutely nothing. She had completely failed to mention this clause, or the fact that it was hurricane season in the Atlantic for that matter. Catherine never apologized for this error or offered to fix the problem as hurricane Irma zeroed in on the islands. It has since hit and left the island nearly inhabitable. Delta vacations has stated that they may have been willing to work something out for us but were unable to speak with us directly as we had used an agent. While Catherine continued to tell us that there was nothing they or she could (would) do. In the end, Catherine told us that the best she could do was cancel the package, which caused us to lose an additional $2,100. All throughout this process her communication was poor and misinformed. We know there is nothing she could have done to prevent the hurricane. However, she failed to take responsibility for her contributions in this disaster of a honeymoon and still got paid while we were out a total of $2,640 with nothing to show for it. We will never use a travel agent again and strongly advise against using this agency and this agent in particular. The honeymoon is supposed to be the least stressful event when getting married and it was a complete nightmare!"
