"It has nice views and the sunsets were great. The park ranger who worked evenings had just started there. It was just his second night. He was very friendly and helpful. Definitely an asset to Aloha State Park."

"We love camping there, haven't tried the full hookup yet, but we really like being close to the water. Best sunsets and love the doughnuts. Workers are friendly and helpful. Only drawback was a lot of geese in mid-September, also great for kayaking"

"It's just the thing we needed before heading back to school. Campgrounds were clean and well maintained. Restroom and water nearby. Beautiful view."

"We stayed on site 31 over the 4th of July. The site was PERFECT. It had plenty of shade and having a beach right on our site was heaven!! I don’t think I’d stay here again if we couldn’t get a lakefront site. This is because the rest of the sites have no trees, and the campground beach is very small and crowded. My biggest complaint was that there wasn’t really a playground- just a volleyball area and a set of swings in an area without trees, so it’s just too hot to use. Also, like many state parks it can be a tight squeeze to back in if you have a bigger rig. Other than that it was great. The trails are nice. The sunsets couldn’t get any better. The camp store donuts are AMAZING. Make sure you grab them before they run out!! If you’re in the area check out Ocqueoc Falls. It’s about a 30 minute drive but sooo worth it."

"Been Camping here since I was a child. Our family loves this state park. The atmosphere is amazing as well as the lake access. Large campsites and clean bathrooms. Very family oriented Camping that is boat friendly. We are sad to see the south loop being turned into an RV park though. Sad that they tore the bathhouse down and are putting in cement slabs to cater to just the people with RV's. We're also sad to see this year that it looks like there is a serious lack of maintenance on the Jetty's a quick afternoon of weed whacking would be a great improvement to keep them looking good."
