About the Business

Penrickton Center For Blind Children

Penrickton Center for Blind Children, located at 26530 Eureka Road in Taylor, Michigan, is a private non-profit institution dedicated to providing care and support to visually impaired children with multiple disabilities. Our center offers residential, day care, and consultation/evaluation services for children aged 1 through 12. Our individualized programs focus on promoting independence in all aspects of daily living.

At Penrickton Center, we utilize the "Active Learning" approach developed by Dr. Nielsen to help visually impaired children with multiple disabilities become active learners. Through this method and specialized equipment, our children are able to strive towards independence and reach their full potential.

We are grateful for the support of our many donors and supporters who have contributed their resources, time, and talents to help our children thrive. If you are interested in learning more about our programs or scheduling a tour, please give us a call. Thank you for helping us make a difference in the lives of visually impaired children with multiple disabilities.
