"This establishment is extremely unprofessional. I came in 10 minutes to close and asked for $20 worth of $1 dollar coins, which I have done a dozen times. The woman Suzette Skrobecki, who claimed to be the bank manager when in reality is simply an assistance manager, was rude to the highest extent. Suzette Skrobecki said she locked the vault, and when I asked her why would she lock it before close, she said verbatim, “because I’m a manager and can do whatever I want and whatever I feel like doing”. Instead of offering to help me open an account with them, Suzette proceed to tell me to leave because I did not have an account. I don’t think the First Merchants Bank corporation would be okay with knowing their associates are closing the vaults early, thus turning away business. For Suzette, an assistant manager to behave in such an uncouth manner, this speaks poorly on not only this location and the other manager Denise, but it also speaks poorly on the First Merchants Bank name. This is behavior you’d expect from employees at McDonald’s, not a bank. They way she spoke to me was deplorable, and I will never open an account with this bank for that very reason. Next time I will go to Chase."
